Face Cleaning Wipes Review

Sharing is Caring!

I primarily use face cleaning wipes to wash my face. I hate washing my face. I know I should wash my face. Getting the dirt and makeup off is one of the keys to having clear, healthy skin. I still hate washing my face. Read my face wipes review to find a new favorite way to clean your face!

I have tried many times to develop good skin care habits. I do great for a couple of days or a week. My good habits always fall apart at one sticking point – washing my face. I dislike splashing cold water on my face and having that water get my clothes wet. I now use face cleaning wipes to wash my face. Using face cleaning wipes may not be the best way to wash your face, but is a way that I am consistent with. Good enough is better than perfect and never.

I have tried quite a few different face cleaning wipes. Below are some of my favorites.

Burt’s Bees Sensitive Facial Cleansing Towelettes

Burt’s Bees Sensitive Facial Cleansing Towelettes – My skin can be sensitive. Overly sensitive at times which can cause redness. The Burt’s Bees Sensitive Facial Cleansing Towelettes did not leave my face all red and angry. Just clean. These wipes are fragrance free and hypoallergenic.

Burt’s Bees Facial Cleansing Towelettes Pink Grapefruit

Burt’s Bees Facial Cleansing Towelettes Pink Grapefruit – I *LOVE* the smell of these wipes. Burt’s Bees grapefruit face wipes are designed for people with normal to oily skin. I will admit that I use them on my sensitive skin too just because they smell so darn good. They really do smell like pink grapefruit. The Burt’s Bees grapefruit face wipes are my favorite of all the face wipes I’ve tried.

Burt’s Bees Sensitive Facial Cleansing Towelettes with Exfoliating Peach and Willow Bark

Burt’s Bees Sensitive Facial Cleansing Towelettes with Exfoliating Peach and Willow Bark – These wipes also smell amazing. The Burt’s Bees exfoliating face wipes with peach and willow bark are designed for people with normal skin who also want a bit of exfoliation. My sensitive skin tolerated these wipes well, and I appreciate the peach smell.

Neutrogena Makeup Removing Wipes

Neutrogena Makeup Removing Wipes – These wipes do a great job of getting makeup off. Neutrogena Makeup Removing Wipes are wetter than the Burt’s Bees wipes so seemed to be able to wipe longer. These wipes smelled ok. The Neutrogena Makeup Removing Wipes did leave my face feeling oddly slick and very moisturized.

Olay 5-in-1 Daily Facial Cloths for Sensitive Skin

Olay 5-in-1 Daily Facial Cloths for Sensitive Skin – These wipes start out dry. You wet them a little bit then use the wipes to cleanse your face. The Olay 5-in-1 Daily Facial Cloths for Sensitive Skin did a very good job of getting makeup off and cleansing my face. The smelled ok, but not amazing. Unlike the wipes above, you need to rinse your face off after using these wipes.

  1. Although I don’t really find these wipes to do the job in tackling my regularly heavy eye makeup, I’ve found a couple of great ways to use them. On days where I am wearing very light makeup or no makeup at all and want a quick cleanse, these towelettes are perfect. The upside to the lack of saturation is that they don’t leave your face wet or greasy at all, which is convenient when you’re using them on-the-go.

  2. I’ve used the Neutrogena ones in the past, but I’m definitely considering some of the Burts Bee’s ones! Great article!
